Times Tables Blaster and Math Race at this level, with harder tables to unlock from grade 3. Start with the 2, 5 and 10 tables.
Are the strategy games the real rules?
Yes — Checkers, Four in a Row and Tic-Tac-Toe use the standard rules, with a computer opponent that plays properly but not cruelly. Two-player mode is on the same device.
Can my child play with a friend?
On one screen, yes: Bumper Boats, Air Hockey and all the board games have a two-player mode. There is no online multiplayer and no chat.
Are there pop-ups or purchases?

By grade 2 (seven to eight years old) most children can read a game's instructions themselves, and the maths turns into the things parents remember drilling: times tables, halves and quarters, and working out the change. The games on this page make those repeatable — a times-tables round is 90 seconds, so "one more go" is easy to say yes to.
It is the widest page on the site because seven-year-olds play everything: word games, strategy games with real rules (Checkers, Four in a Row and Tic-Tac-Toe), the arcade classics at full speed, and two-player battles on one screen.
