World Map Explorer is a gentle geography game with a friendly world map. Quokka flies a hot-air balloon, and an animal rides in the basket beside her. Tap the continent where it lives and the balloon floats there: the kangaroo hops out in Australia, the panda in Asia and the penguin in Antarctica. At first only two big continents light up, then three, then the whole world. Next come the five oceans, where a whale or a turtle splashes in, and then famous natural wonders such as Mount Everest, the Amazon rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. The map changes from a sunny day to sunset, a starry night, an ocean view and a snowy world, and every stage cleared wins Quokka a new balloon. A wrong tap just gets a polite head-shake, so every child can keep trying.
