How to play
Look at the list and tap those things on the shelves to put them in the trolley.
At the till, tap the coins to pay the number on the register.
Tap a coin on the tray to take it back. From Level 8 you can pay with a big coin and get change.
Supermarket is a shopping game for kids, hosted by Hedgehog in her orange scarf. A picture list shows what to buy, so no reading is needed: find each thing on the shelves and tap it, and it hops into your trolley. When the list is done it is off to the till, where every thing is scanned and the register counts up the price, then you pay by tapping star coins onto the tray. The first trip is just two things that cost one coin each, so even four-year-olds can count it out, and each level adds one new idea: two of a thing, prices on the tags, the 2 coin, the 5 coin, longer lists, the 10 coin and finally getting change back from a big coin. The shops change as you go, from a cosy corner shop to a sunny fruit market, a big supermarket and a snowy winter market. A wrong pick only wiggles and too many coins just hop back, so nothing is ever lost and there is no clock. After every level there is a Coin Catch bonus round, a fun fact and a new trolley to shop with, from sky blue to rainbow and golden stars. It is a gentle way to practise counting, adding and money with pretend coins that work the same in every country.
