Truck Driver is a truck driving game for young children, hosted by Otter in his red cap and vest. Seen from the side, a chunky toy delivery truck rolls along a road over soft, rounded hills with parcels riding in its open back. Hold your finger anywhere on the screen (or hold Space or the right arrow key) to drive, and let go to slow down. The truck never crashes: it stops by itself at each house, and the parcels hop out of the back into a row of big boxes. Tap the one the house asks for in its bubble and it flies to the door, the house gets a green tick and Otter cheers. At first any parcel will do; then the houses ask for a colour, and later they show dots to count, so young players practise colours and counting while they drive. Go too fast over a bump and a parcel wobbles off, bounces on the road and boings back into the truck, costing only a moment. Ten levels each bring one new thing: driving and stopping, little bumps, colour parcels, number houses, a little bridge and a sandy dip, a duck family crossing the road, slippery snow, monster truck wheels for bigger hills, numbers up to ten and a big town run. The road travels from a sunny farm to the seaside and the snowy hills. After each level there is a Parcel Catch round with a toy crane, a true fact about otters and a new truck look, from racing stripes and a roof ladder to a bubble truck and monster wheels.
