How to play

Tap the animals to play their notes.

Follow the glowing animal to play a little tune.

TipThe five animals play a five-note scale that always sounds sweet, so try anything. In a loop, repeating a note makes a steady rhythm, and going up then down makes a wave. Drum taps are kept in time and repeat each time round. When playing along, tap as the ring reaches the animal. Every note you play counts toward your stars. On a keyboard, press 1 to 5 (or A S D F G) for the animals and 6, 7, 8 (or J K L) for the drums. Pick your favourite instrument after a game.

Music Maker is a music playground where every tap sounds good. Five animal friends each sing one note, and together they make a happy scale, so any order sounds like a tune. Wombat leads the band and sets gentle missions: play three notes, follow the glowing animals through little songs, then copy short tunes. Next you tap notes into a loop and hear it go round with the band, add bongo, shaker and clap drums that stay in time, and finally play along as the pads glow on the beat. There is nothing to lose and no wrong notes. Play in a sunny park, on the beach, at a snowy lodge, in candy land and under the stars, and win a new instrument every stage: chimes, flute, toy piano, harp, steel drum and music box.
