Thanksgiving Word Scramble is a gentle spelling game for kids: a Thanksgiving picture pops up, and the jumbled letters below spell its name. Tap the letters in order, or drag them into the slots, to spell pie, owl, corn, pear, turkey and more. Pip the platypus helps along the way. The first words are short, and every letter is shown faintly in its slot, so young children can simply match the shapes. Later, only the first letter is shown, the words grow longer, like basket, pumpkin and squirrel, and much later one spare letter sneaks in. A wrong letter just wiggles back home, and the light bulb shows the next letter whenever a child needs it. Each stage visits a new autumn place, from the harvest farm to the harvest fair, and wins a new set of autumn letter tiles.
