How to play
Tap the big die to roll it.
Tap a counter that glows to move it that many squares.
Land on another counter to bump it back to its yard, but counters on a star are safe.
Get all your counters into the middle to win.
Ludo is the classic race board game, made gentle for kids: roll the big die and move your counters round the board and into the middle before Red Panda gets there. It starts small, with one counter each on a short board, so even five-year-olds can play from the first roll. Each level adds one new idea: two counters to choose between, bumping a counter back to its yard, safe star squares, needing a six to start and rolling again on a six, until you are playing real Ludo with four counters. Then two more animal friends join for a four-player Ludo Party. Only the counters that can move glow, so there is never a wrong move. Every level wins a new counter style, from ladybirds to rockets. After the first game, two to four children can take turns on one screen. Ludo comes from Pachisi, a game played in India for hundreds of years.
