Snakes & Ladders is the classic board game, made gentle for young players. Tap the big die and your counter hops square by square, with each hop counted in a bright number pop and a rising note. Land at the foot of a ladder and you climb up to a cheer. Land on a snake's head and it is a slide: the snake grins, you go "Wheee!" and slide down its back. You race a few animal friends, and Joey the kangaroo cheers everyone on. The first boards are small, with 30 squares and only short snakes. Later boards have 50 squares, and then the full 100. Every board you finish takes you to a new place and wins a new friend to play as. Two players can also race on one screen.
