Christmas Word Scramble is a gentle spelling game for kids: a Christmas picture pops up, and the jumbled letters below spell its name. Tap the letters in order, or drag them into the slots, to spell hat, star, bell, tree, snowman and more. Pip the platypus helps along the way. The first words are short, and every letter is shown faintly in its slot, so young children can simply match the shapes. Later, only the first letter is shown, the words grow longer, like cookie, mitten and reindeer, and much later one spare letter sneaks in. A wrong letter just wiggles back home, and the light bulb shows the next letter whenever a child needs it.
