Zigzag is a one-tap sliding game with Penguin, a round little penguin in a red scarf who loves to toboggan on its tummy. Penguin slides down a winding path of shiny ice toward you, all by itself. Your job is to tap at each corner so Penguin swaps sides and stays on the ice, zigzagging from down-left to down-right and back again while catching the fish along the way. Near a corner a tap is helped onto the path, so a little early or a little late still works. In the first two levels the edge of the ice is soft: if Penguin slides off, a fluffy snow bank boings it back on and nothing is lost. From Level 3 there are three hearts, and a slide off the ice means a soft plop into the snow, then Penguin stands back at the last corner and waits for your tap. Ten levels travel from the snowy hills to a frozen lake at sunset and on under the northern lights, and each one brings one new thing: stars on the corners, gift boxes with a wide golden path, a fish magnet or a glide where Penguin turns by itself, shiny speedy ice, slow rolling snowballs, narrow ice and bursts of quick zigzags. Every level ends under an ice arch with bunting, then comes the Fish rain bonus round, a true fact about penguins and a new hat for Penguin, from a sailor hat and a crown to a top hat and a star hat. If the hearts run out you can carry on from the same level.
