Word Scramble is a picture spelling game with Pip the friendly platypus. A picture shows a word, like a cat, a cake or a rocket, and its letters sit jumbled on chunky tiles. Tap a letter to send it to the next empty slot, or drag it into place. The right letter snaps in with a happy note; a wrong one just wiggles and hops back, with no points lost. The first words have three letters, and faint letters in the slots show which goes where, so children who can't read yet can match the shapes. Later words get longer and the faint letters fade away. Five words clear a stage, move Pip to a new place and win a new set of letter tiles.
