How to play
Tap a treat: it and the ones after it lift up and count 1, 2, 3.
Tap your basket (or the same treat again) to take them.
Then Echidna takes her turn.
Whoever takes the last treat, the one on the gold star, wins the game.
Win two games to clear a stage, visit a new place and win a new basket.
Take the Last One is the classic take-away strategy game, often called Nim, made gentle for young players. A row of smiling treats stands on a garden bed, and the last one sits on a gold star. You and Echidna take turns taking 1, 2 or 3 treats from the end of the row, and whoever takes the last one wins. Tap a treat to pick it and the ones after it, count them as they lift up, then tap your basket to collect them. Echidna plays kindly at first, then gets cleverer, and a soft glow helps you spot the winning move. Later stages bring 'take 1 or 2' and two rows. Visit a sunny garden, a beach, snowy hills, candy land and a starry night, and win a new basket every stage.
