2048 is the classic sliding number puzzle, remade for kids with a ladder of cute Australian animals. Every tile is an animal with its number written big underneath: 2 is an egg, 4 a chick, 8 a frog, 16 a lizard, 32 an echidna, 64 a platypus, 128 a wombat, 256 a koala, 512 a kangaroo, 1024 an emu and 2048 a friendly whale, with a golden crowned koala beyond that. Slide the whole board, and two animals that are the same squish together into the next one up. Each new animal hatches with a little celebration, and the ones you have met are kept in your Animal friends collection. Grow the 128 wombat to clear the stage (from the fourth stage, the 256 koala): stars, confetti and a new board to play on, then a fresh board starts straight away in a new place: the beach, a snowy forest, candy land and even the Moon.
