What age are brain teasers for?
Mostly seven to eleven. Maze Runner and Jigsaw Puzzle suit younger children; Sudoku is the hardest.
Are there hints?
No. Every puzzle can be solved with what is on screen. If it is hard, it is meant to be — try a smaller size first.
Is there anything to buy?
No — no pop-ups, no sign-up and nothing to buy.
Do they work on an iPad?
Yes. Every game runs in the browser with touch; on a computer the keyboard works too.

A brain teaser is a puzzle where the answer is not obvious and speed does not help. This is the page for a child who has finished the easy puzzles and wants something to chew on: 2048 and Sudoku for numbers; Minesweeper and Flower Sweeper for deduction; Tower of Hanoi and Unblock the Car for planning.
Nothing is timed unless the game says so, there are no hints to buy, and a puzzle you cannot do today is still there tomorrow. Most suit seven and up; Maze Runner and Jigsaw Puzzle are the way in for younger children.
