About these maths worksheets

These free maths worksheets help children aged 4 to 9 practise the basics a little at a time: counting pictures, adding and taking away within 10, the 2, 5 and 10 times tables, shapes, patterns and telling the time. Most sheets use cute pictures to count, so children can see the sums before they write the numbers. Each sheet prints in black and white on plain A4 paper, and answers are given in the notes on each sheet's page. Use them for homework, a quick warm-up or a rainy afternoon.
