About this sheet
Three columns, one for each of the first times tables children learn: the 2s, the 5s and the 10s. Each column runs from 1 times up to 10 times, with a box for every answer. These three tables come first because they follow easy patterns: the 2s are all even numbers, the 5s end in 5 or 0, and the 10s always end in 0. Children aged 6–9 can count up in steps to find each answer, then check the pattern down the column. Try covering the answers and saying the table out loud, or race a grown-up to finish one column. A cute pencil and a smiling star at the top are there to color when the work is done. Print on plain A4 and use a pencil. Then practise on screen in Times Tables Blaster, where you tap the rock with the right answer and the rocket zaps it.
