About this sheet
A friendly robot is built entirely from shapes: a square head, round eyes, a triangle nose, rectangle arms and legs, and triangle feet. Below it, each shape has a box. Children count how many circles, squares, triangles and rectangles they can find in the robot and write the numbers in. It mixes shape names with counting, a good pairing for ages 4โ6. Tip: color each kind of shape in its own color first, then counting is much simpler. Afterwards, children can draw their own shape robot on the back of the page. Print it on plain A4 and use pencils or crayons. For more shape fun on screen, Shape Sorter has chunky smiling shapes to drop into the matching holes of a toy box.
