About this sheet
Every number from 1 to 10 gets its own row: a big solid numeral to look at, three dotted copies to trace, and a row of stars that shows how many it means. That link between the written number and the amount is exactly what children aged 4–6 are learning. Start at the top of each number and trace slowly with a pencil, then count and color the stars in the same row. Doing a few rows a day works better than racing through all ten. The sheet prints on plain A4 and is free for home and classroom use, so print a fresh copy whenever practice is needed. On a tablet, our Number Tracing game lets children trace numbers with a finger, following arrows and numbered dots.
