About this sheet
Five rows of fruit to count: apples, bananas, pears, strawberries and oranges, with a dotted box at the end of each row for the answer. Each row holds between three and seven pieces, which suits children aged 4–6 who are learning to count objects one by one and to write the numerals. Show them how to touch each fruit as they say the number, so nothing gets counted twice. There is a name and date line at the top, so it works as a classroom sheet too. When the counting is done, the fruit is ready to color in. Print on A4 and use a pencil, then crayons.
