About this sheet
A "My name is" page with writing lines for practising a name, and a big frame at the bottom where children draw a picture of themselves. Crayons, stars and hearts decorate the border, ready to color. Your own name is usually the first word a child learns to write, and it means a lot to them. For children aged 4–6 who are just starting, write the name lightly on the first line yourself so they can trace over it, then let them copy it on the lines below. Remind them that only the first letter is a capital. It makes a lovely keepsake: date it and compare a new copy in a few months. Print on A4.
