Rhyme Time is a gentle first game about rhyming words. Galah shows a picture card, a cat or a fox, and says its word out loud. Below wait two big picture cards, each with its word: tap the one that rhymes and it flies up beside the first card while Galah sings them both, and the rhyming endings light up in the same colour. A wrong tap only makes a card wiggle, and the right one soon starts to glow, so every rhyme gets found. The first rhymes are short, clear words like cat and hat, with the endings already coloured to help. Later come more pictures, longer words and rhymes spelled differently, like bee and key. Every cleared stage visits a new place and wins new card colours.
