About this sheet
Ten Christmas words are hiding in this 10 by 10 letter grid: tree, star, bell, snowman, gift, stocking, reindeer, hat, candy and ornament. Every word runs straight across or straight down, never backwards or on a slant, so it suits early readers aged 5 to 8. Each word in the list has its own little picture beside it, which helps children who are still learning to read. Look for the first letter, check the next ones, then circle the word and tick it off the list. Once the search is done, the pictures are ready to color. Print on plain A4.
