How to play
Put your finger (or the mouse) on the green dot with the number 1.
Follow the dotted line and the arrows to trace the number.
If a number has two strokes, start again at the next green number. For 10 to 20, trace the first digit, then the second.
Now tap each friend to count it. When you have counted them all, the quokka cheers!
Playing on a keyboard? Hold Space or an arrow key and the magic crayon traces for you. Press Space to count.
Number Tracing is a number writing and counting game with a friendly quokka. A big number sits on a writing page with school writing lines. Put your finger on the green numbered dot and follow the dotted line and the little arrows, and your crayon colours the number in with a trail of sparkles. Numbers with two strokes show the order with numbers. Then the number shrinks to the top of the page and that many friends pop up in ten-frame trays: apples, hens, crabs, ducks or stars. Tap each one to count it. Children start with easy numbers like 1, 7, 4 and 0, then the curly ones, then 10 to 20, traced one digit at a time. Every stage visits a new place and wins a new crayon.
