About this sheet

A cheerful squirrel with a big curly tail sits on top of a pile of fall leaves on this autumn coloring page, holding an acorn in both paws. Maple and oak leaves of every size drift down from a branch above, and at the bottom there are acorns, a smiling mushroom and a little pumpkin to find and color. Children aged 4–8 can make the leaves red, orange, yellow and brown, and give the squirrel a fluffy red or grey coat. It's a lovely page for talking about the seasons: why do leaves change color and fall, and why do squirrels hide acorns before winter? Take it on a nature walk and match the leaves you collect. Print on plain A4 and use crayons, pencils or felt tips. Afterwards, look after the animals in Farm Day.
