About this sheet
A smiling hedgehog sits in a big pile of autumn leaves, holding a shiny apple, while more leaves drift down from the branch above. There are oak and maple leaves of every size, a few acorns and a little mushroom to find and color. This fall coloring page suits children aged 4–8: the leaves are large and clearly outlined, so younger ones can fill them in with reds, oranges and browns, and older ones can add veins and spots of their own. It's a lovely way to talk about the seasons: why do leaves change color and fall, and where do hedgehogs sleep through the winter? Take it on a nature walk and match the leaves you find. Print on plain A4. Afterwards, care for animals in Farm Day, where children feed the animals and look after the farm.
