About this sheet
It's harvest time on this fall coloring page. A wooden wheelbarrow is piled high with three smiling pumpkins, and in front of it a woven basket is full of happy apples with leaves on their stems. Three little acorns sit beside a bundle of wheat, two sunflowers grow by the fence, and a smiling sun peeks over the hill. There's plenty here for children aged 4–8 to color: orange pumpkins, red and green apples, golden wheat and yellow petals. It's a good page for talking about where food comes from, what grows in autumn and how farmers gather the crops before winter. Count the apples and pumpkins together, too. Print on plain A4 and color with crayons, pencils or felt tips. Then try to catch the apples in Apple Bobbing.
