About these rangoli drawings to colour
โบ
These free rangoli drawings are for children to colour on paper, or copy before making a real rangoli with powder or flowers. They start with a very easy rangoli of a big circle, eight petals and eight dots for little hands, then go on to a flower rangoli, a peacock rangoli, a lotus rangoli, a rangoli with diyas and a star rangoli made of triangles and diamonds. The detailed mandala rangoli suits older children aged 6 to 10. Each one is a black and white A4 page, ready to download as a PDF or print.

โบ
What is the easiest rangoli for kids to draw?
Start with a circle in the middle, add eight big petals round it, then put a dot between each petal. That is the Simple Rangoli Drawing on this page, made with thick lines for ages 3 to 5.
How do I make a rangoli on paper?
Print a rangoli or draw a circle with a bangle or a bowl. Add rings of petals and dots, working outwards so both sides match, then colour each ring in a different bright colour.
Which rangoli is good for a school competition?
A peacock, lotus or mandala rangoli stands out because it has more detail. Practise on paper first, and choose three or four bright colours that look good side by side.
When do people make a rangoli?
Families make rangoli at the door for Diwali and other festivals and happy days, to welcome guests and good luck. Children can colour these pages at any time of year.
