About these games

Our picks and what they practise

Kindergarten math is about understanding numbers, not speed. Count the Fish gives every fish its own number as you tap it, so one tap means one number, and the first stages have only one to five fish with dots on the answer buttons. Number Bonds shows a tray of counters, so children who can't count far yet can simply match the dots.

A wrong answer just wiggles while the right one starts to glow, so every round gets finished. Ten minutes of play a few times a week is plenty, and every game they play wins a sticker for their sticker book.
