About these Diwali greeting cards
βΊ
Making a card is one of the nicest ways for a child to share Diwali. Here are 20 free printable Diwali greeting cards. Ten are black and white for children to colour, including cards for mummy, papa, grandparents, a teacher and a friend. Ten are in full colour and ready to give, with diyas, rangoli, lanterns, a peacock, Lord Ganesha, Goddess Lakshmi, and Rama and Sita. Each card prints on one A4 page. Fold it once along the dashed line, write a message inside, and sign the back. They suit children aged 4 to 8, at home or in the classroom, and the easy diya card suits toddlers with a little help. 5 quick answers
βΊ
How do I make a Diwali card from these?
Print the page on A4, keeping the size at 100% or fit to page. Colour the picture if it is a black and white card, then fold the paper in half along the dashed line. The inside is blank for your message.
Why is half the page upside down?
That half is the back of the card. Once you fold the page along the dashed line, it reads the right way up.
What can I write inside a Diwali card?
Keep it short and from the heart, for example: Happy Diwali! May your home be full of light and joy. Younger children can draw a diya and sign their name.
Are there cards in colour?
Yes. Ten cards are in full colour and ready to give, so they need a colour printer. The other ten print in black and white for children to colour.
Can teachers use these in class?
Yes. Print as many as you need. A card for a parent or grandparent makes an easy Diwali activity in class.
