About this sheet

A koala sits high in a gum tree, happily munching a bunch of leaves, while a kangaroo bounds across the grass below. It's a sunny Australian bush scene with fluffy clouds and plenty of leaves to fill with greens, greys and browns. Children aged 4โ€“8 can color the big shapes first, then add extras of their own: a joey peeking from the pouch, a kookaburra on a branch, or a few more gum leaves. While the crayons are out, talk about where koalas live, why they sleep so much and how far a kangaroo can hop. The sheet prints on any home or school printer on plain A4 and is free for home and classroom use. Afterwards, little koala fans can play Koala Run, where our koala dashes and jumps through the bush.
